Cookie Policy
Cookies and browser storage
Last updated: 11 October 2026
This page explains what this site keeps in your browser, what it does not use, and how you change your choice. It is written in plain language and is a starting point for a site owner’s own policy.
Template text, not legal advice. Replace it with your own policy before launch.
1
The short version
This site sets no cookies of its own. It uses no analytics and no advertising tools. It keeps a few entries in your browser’s local storage, and only because you asked for a feature, such as saving a home, or signed in to the demo.
2
What the site stores
Four entries in local storage. All are functional and stay on your device; none is sent to a server by this template.
Your saved homes. Written when you press a heart. Cleared when you remove the last home, use Reset demo data, or clear the site data in your browser.
The homes you picked to compare. Written when you press Compare. Cleared with Clear all in the compare tray or by clearing the site data.
The demo sign-in: the sample role and name. Written when you sign in on the demo. Cleared when you sign out.
Sample dashboard data that you changed, such as a draft listing or a setting. Written on your first change. Cleared with Reset demo data or Delete account in Settings.

The cookie banner on the home page
The home page shows a cookie banner as a working example. The banner is Framer’s own component. It keeps your choice in up to three more local storage entries so that it does not ask again: framerCookiesConsentMode (your choice per category; written when the page opens, with every optional category off), framerCookiesDismissed (that you answered) and framerCookiesAutoAccepted (used only by the simple banner type).
4
Categories
The banner offers these categories. In this template only the first one holds anything.
The four entries above and the banner’s own three. Needed for features you asked for. Always on.
Nothing in this template. A site owner may add personal settings here.
Nothing until the site owner adds an analytics tool. Off until you agree.
Nothing until the site owner adds advertising tools. Off until you agree.
5
Third-party content
Some pages load content from another company, which may set its own cookies or read your address when the content loads.
On every property page, project page, location page and developer page. The map loads from the map provider when the page opens.
None in this template. The films on location and developer pages are files of the site itself.
Plain links in the footer. Nothing loads from those sites until you follow a link.
A site owner whose visitors are in the European Union should load the map only after consent, or replace it with a picture of the map that links to the map provider.
6
Change or withdraw your choice
Open the home page and press Cookie settings at the foot of the page to see the banner again and change your choice. You can also clear the site data in your browser settings, which removes every entry listed on this page.
7
For the site owner
The banner is on the home page only. To show it on every page, select it on the home page, copy it, open the layout template Shell/Page and paste it there; then delete the copy on the home page. The Cookie settings text is the banner’s own trigger: place the banner where that text should appear, for example in the footer area.
To connect Google Tag Manager, select the banner and paste your container ID into the field GTM ID. The banner then sends the visitor’s choice to the container with Consent Mode, with everything except Necessary denied until the visitor agrees. Set your tags to respect consent.
Keep a record of consent in your own backend if the law that applies to you asks for it. This template does not keep one.
